Tafluprost eye drops is used alone or together with other medicines to treat increased pressure in the eye caused by open-angle glaucoma or a condition called hypertension of the eye. Both conditions are caused by high pressure in the eye which can lead to pain or vision changes. This medicine is a prostaglandin. WebZIOPTAN™ (tafluprost ophthalmic solution) 0.0015% is indicated for reducing elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. 2 . DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION . The recommended dose is one drop of ZIOPTAN in the conjunctival sac of the affected eye(s) once daily in the evening.
