I don't see a way to remove/replace the fitting. Visually it appears ok, but even after changing fittings on the feedline (N) contact is not good. RLB scans vary and it wasn't acceptable to me.

(I'm also hoping for better performance on 2m/70cm.) I would then take the X50 and use it for GMRS. The match is very narrow and is higher than 2:1 on 2m and 1296. 1.2 GHz is a very big band so I can understand it being made for the FM portion of the band. I do FT8 on 1296.174 and the match is a bit high there but it will work.
