WebFeb 8, 2016 · The external propane tank may be sensing an open line, which will cause the external tank's valve to restrict flow. Turn off your internal LP tank valve then very slowly open the external tank's valve. Check for any leaks. You may have to open and close the external tank valve several times to pressurize the lines. Good luck. WebIf the external tank supply hose was leaking that wasn't the fault of the Extend A Stay but rather a supply hose problem. When the hose is connected to an external tank an internal valve in the hose end is opened. When the hose is disconnected it is supposed to close. I have had to replace a couple of them over the years.
