Webb6 maj 2024 · I have a 2015 Tahoe LTZ and for the last year I get tighten gas cap on the DIC and I dismiss and it comes on a few days later then after the 3rd time the check engine light comes on. I have purchased a new gas cap and Chevy has done a smoke test and a vacuum test and they say everything test ok. On a scanner it’s code P0445. The other option would be to take it to an autoparts store (Autozone, Advanced) and they can scan for error codes, let you know what they are and clear and reset them usually for free. According to my dealer, BMW's policy is that they will reset it for at N/C once during the four year ownership period. After that, they view it as negligence on your part and will charge you a scope fee.
